TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
