Tab Trade — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
